Jace is 3 1/2!!! Crazy!

I can not believe that our big boy Jace is 3 and a half!!  It is just crazy!  And even crazier, is he acts like he is 5 already.  ha ha!  Plus he is big enough to be 5 so it works out.    Here are some of the things that he is doing right now....

Weight: 38 pounds
Height: 42 inches
3T-4T Pull-ups at night

Loves:
Counting
Learning how to spell
Ripping up paper into small pieces
Drawing maps
Going with Chris to the baseball field, hitting in cage
Eating
Max
Jaxon
Daddy (his hero)
Big kids
Paw Patrol and Blaze are his favorite cartoons
Carrots and hummus
Sparkling water
Trampolines
Cleaning (helps me wipe counters, sweep and mop)

Hates:
Getting wet when he doesn't want to
Being told no
Being cold
Being tired

Big brother:
Jace is really starting to enjoy being a big brother.  I think it's because Jaxon is so much more interactive now.  He loves to go see Jaxon when he wakes up and talks to him through the pack n play.  I had to tell him to stop crawling in the pack n play....and just say hi from the outside.  Ha ha!  He tells me all the time that he is better at calming Jaxon down then I am....and I actually think he's right.  He will bring him toys, help feed him, talk to him when he's crying, get me diapers and wipes, throw away dirty diapers, and help pick up Jaxon when he falls over (also something I tell him not to do, but it's cute!).  It took almost 9 months, but he really is becoming a great big brother!!

Talker:
Jace is a talker.  He always says hi to everyone he sees -- and then immediately tells them that his name is Jace, he is 3 and then asks how old they are.  It's too funny!  He has a huge vocabulary.  And he loves to narrate his day.  Constantly describing what he is doing and what he can do when he's older.  He always has a story -- such an imagination.  Sometimes it's hard to have a regular conversation with him because he has so many stories going on!  Lol.  But is super smart, picks up things so easily, and challenges me daily.  It's a constant battle and negotiation to get him to do anything because he is SO opinionated and determined.  Which I love and hate.  ha ha!  But he definitely keeps me on my toes.  He says so many funny things!! I wish I could remember them all!  But he is hilarious!! :)

Smart:
Jace is so smart.  We are told all the time (which is really cool as a parent).  He is learn how to spell and can now spell Jace, Jaxon, Mom, Dad, Max, Go, Stop and a couple others.  He loves to read, color, and do his number/letter quizzes.  He can draw his name and is starting to draw numbers.  He knows right, left, days of the week, and can count to about 50.  He is obsessed with how big things are -- inches, weight, and speed.  And he is constantly talking about what he will do when he gets older.

Eats a lot!
Jace has always been a good eater.  He is really easy to please.  His favorites are peanut butter & jelly, cheese, apples & PB, quesadillas, guacamole, Kids Cliff Bars, and carrots & hummus.  He will even eat spinach salad, broccoli, asparagus, kale salad and other super healthy things.  Love it!  I can tell when he is growing because he eats ALL day!!  And then when he's not, he takes like two bites and he's done.  We encourage him to eat all his food to grow big muscles -- and he shows us his muscles after every meal.  Lol.  It's cute!

And some of my favorite pictures from the last 6 months!
