38 Weeks!!

Only two more weeks until our baby boy's due date!  I have been feeling good, but pregnancy is definitely starting to wear on me.  Our little man has gotten a lot heavier in the past week, but that is probably because he has dropped so much.  My doctor said his head is really low already.  Plus he is gaining a lot of weight...about 1/2 pound a week!  All that extra baby weight plus the weight I'm gaining makes it harder to get out of bed or off the couch.  I'm still sleeping pretty well even though I wake up and roll out of bed (literally) a couple times a night to go to the bathroom!  Ha ha!!  Sometimes I can't fall back asleep though and Chris will catch me playing on my iPhone at 2:30am!  Ha ha!!  I try to play games or read emails until I fall back asleep...which sometimes can take a few hours.  But it is just getting me ready for the weeks ahead!  

I've started to have contractions every day...and lately they are starting to get more painful.  But until they average 5 minutes apart they are just considered practice labor.  So now it's just a waiting game until the little guy decides to show up.  I know that most first time moms go past their due date, but I have a feeling that he might decide to come early.  It might just be wishful thinking, but I think we will have our baby boy before Thanksgiving.  I guess we will see if I'm right!! :)
