Shoes: Size 5

Likes:
The Bull (Durham's mascot)
Bubbles
Playing catch
Coloring
Giving hugs
Talking
Eating
Music
Reading books
Watching baseball
Walking, running (with only the left arm moving - we call it his chicken wing)
Wearing a hat
Peek-a-boo
Walking around the house with a blanket on his head (not safe at all and normally ends badly)

Dislikes:
Being told no (ha ha...who doesn't?)
Being tired
Being too close to the bull
Being stick in the stroller when he wants to walk

Talking:
Jace has learned so many words in the past few months. He has even started using two word sentences like "go da da," "ma ma catch," and "more cheese." He has also really started pronounciating certain consonants...so it's boo-K, ba-T, wal-K. Some of his favorite words are yellow, bull, Elmo, baseball, bye, max, cheese, walk, down, milk, book, bat, car, ball, throw, and cookie.

Smart boy:
I'm so biased but I feel like Jace is pretty smart. He knows his colors and can pick out/say red, blue, yellow, orange, green, purple, black, pink, brown, and white. He knows when I start counting to say "one, two, three!"  He knows most of his body parts.  He can sing some of the words to "take me out to the ball game," "twinkle, twinkle little star," "wheels on the bus," and "you are my sunshine."  He and a game on the iPad that teaches shapes and he can pick out a circle, square, triangle, oval, star and heart.  Yeah, I'm totally being that mom that brags about her child.  Ha ha!

Independent:
While Jace loves being around us, he is also pretty independent too. He will go sit in his chair and read a book. Or he will go build Legos or play with Tupperware for 20-30 minutes. I love that he doesn't constantly need interaction and has learned to entertain himself.  He also lives going in and out of cabinets. We have his Tupperware cabinet...one of his favorite things to play with and in!

Music:
Jace loves music. He loves listening to it, trying to sing the words, and of course dancing to it. He will go turn on the music from one if his toys and then dance around the room with his stuffed animals. Not sure where he gets it but its pretty funny. And his dance is more like a little sidestep hop...so cute!!

Hugs:
Jace gives THE best hugs!! It's so cute. He will go up to pretty much anyone and give them a hug good bye. He also likes giving high fives and knuckles.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past few months! :)
