A couple weeks ago we took Jace to see his first movie! My mom and I took him to see Despicable Me 2. Chris was on a long road trip and we were trying to figure out something fun to do....so we figured we might as well try to take him to the movies. Even if he only sat there for 30 minutes, we figured it would still be fun! So we packed up some snacks....and headed to the movie theater. Jace even wore his Despicable Me shirt so that he could look like the little "minions."
When we walked into the theater Jace's eyes got huge! At first I didn't know if he would like it. But we found some seats high up, in the middle. He sat on my lap and I told him that we were going to watch a "big movie." He sat on my lap and didn't move for over an hour! He was locked in! I couldn't believe it. For the last 30 minutes he got a little bored....so I just pulled out my phone so he could play on it! But we made it!! I was so proud of him! And it was so much fun to take him. He hasn't stopped asking to go back to a "big movie" since we left! And because he was so good...we went and got some frozen yogurt afterward! It was a great night! :)
