Pomeroy trip!

A couple weeks ago we made our annual trip up to Pomeroy, WA!  Chris goes deer hunting with all of his family....Uncle Timmy, Uncle Ronny, his cousin Daniel, cousin Tom and his Grandpa Dale.  It's a 12 hour drive up there and we were crazy enough to drive up with a toddler.  He did pretty good going up....but definitely was over the car seat towards the end!  I don't blame him.  We did our best to keep him busy with movies, the iPad and just playing with his favorite stuffed animals!  :)

We finally made it around 7am!  We drove over night because we thought it might be easier.  Jace made himself right at home.  Here he is playing with his Great Grandpa Dale!  :)

The first couple days the guys spent most of their time getting ready for their big hunt.  They got their guns ready, bought their tags and drank some beer!  ;)

While the boys were hunting....we tried to keep Jace busy!  We went swimming with his Great Grandma Norma and her swimming group.  We went to the park!  We went to the dam and saw fish in the hatchery, which Jace LOVED!  And we watched lots of cartoons!  :)

Well the guys had an awesome couple days and shot 4 big deer!  So they spent the next couple days doing some "fix-it" jobs with grandpa!  Here Jace is helping the guys  repair a roof!  :)

It was a great trip!  And we were lucky enough to split up the drive home into two days.  We were lucky enough to stay with Chris' cousin Bob, his wife Jane and their two kids Lily and Grant.  Jace did so much better on the way home when we split the trip up...and he loved playing with his cousins!  It was fun for all of us!  We are already looking forward to our trip next year....there is just something about that town that is SO relaxing and fun for all of us!! :)
