Have yourself a merry little Christmas....

Here are some pictures from our Reno Christmas.  We had an amazing night enjoying time with our family.  We spent Christmas Eve at our house.....we made tri-tip, mashed potatoes (from the cook-off contest of course), roasted squash, salad and garlic bread!  For dessert, as always, we were spoiled with my aunt's famous prune cake -- don't knock it until you try it!!  Amazing!!  And I made a "Better than Robert Redford" pie.  Not sure where the name came from, but it was delicious!  We did a "nice" white elephant gift exhange and just had a great time! :)

After everyone went home that night, Chris and I got to set up Jace's Santa gifts!  It was so fun knowing that this year he would kind of understand what would be going on!!  We still didn't go crazy with the gifts....we don't want him getting used to 100's of gifts under the tree....plus he doesn't need it!!  But we did get him a balance bike (with no pedals) and my parents got him the Little Tikes car (because he plays with it whenever we go to someones house who has one!)  He also got some crayons, coloring books, stickers, some new cups with straws, rain boots, two new pair of tennis shoes, some shorts and a little bit of candy.  I mean we had to get some candy because that is all he asked Santa for!!  Ha!  I took a video of him coming out to see all the gifts...so I will try and post it on here soon.  :)
