Jace meeting Jaxon

A couple hours after Jaxon was both, my dad brought Jace to the hospital to meet him. We got Jace a "big brother" shirt and my parents got him a watch. We also told him that Jaxon would have a big brither gift waiting for him at the hospital. We tried to do everything we could to make him feel special.

The moment when Jace walked in the hospital room is a moment I will never forget. Chris was holding Jaxon, and Jace walked right over to him with a huge smile on his face. He looked down on his little brother and gave him a kiss on the forehead.   I had tears in my eyes watching it.  It was priceless. 

Jace immediately asked to hold him. Chris got Jace up in the chair and put a pillow on his lap to help support Jaxon. Jace held on to him right and said "Hi Jaxon."  He just stared at Jaxon in his arms almost in awe. He gave him a couple more kisses on the forehead and touched his fingers. And then he said, "I'm all done." Lol. We got him down from the chair and he gave Jaxon a little bother gift. It was a little brother onesie, a little Elmo toy and some teething rings. All stuff Jace had helped me pick our. Then we let Jace open his big brither gift. He got a big brother shirt, a stuffed Olaf, a space shuttle and a Jake and the Pirates Lego set. He was so excited. 

We chatted as a family and ate dinner that my parents brought (the hospital food wasn't gonna do it for me. Lol) after an hour or so, Jace was getting bored with the hospital room do my parents decided it was time to take him home. He gave Jaxon one more kiss and headed out. Such a great big brother already!
