2014 Christmas Morning!

I know, it was almost a month ago!  But here are some pictures from Christmas morning!  On Christmas Eve we put out cookies and milk for Santa...and a few carrots for his reindeer. Jace was BEYOND excited!!  It was so cute!  We put him to bed and reminded him that Santa will only come if he's sleeping...so he better get some good rest.  Well at around 3am he wakes up hysterically crying.  We went in there to see what was going on.  He told us that he was being a "bad boy" because he woke up and that Santa isn't coming anymore.  Lol.  It was so funny and heart breaking at the same time.  We were desperately trying to convince him that if he fell asleep that Santa would still come.  But he kept telling us no, I'm a bad boy.  Anyway....he finally fell asleep, thank goodness!!  I woke up around 5:30am with Jax, and took him out to the living room to turn on the lights, turn on Christmas carols and wait for Jace to wake up.

Jace had been asking Santa for a surf board? Then it was a skate board?  But when we asked him where he rides his skate board he said on the water.  We had no idea where he got that idea....but we didn't want to let him down the first Christmas he really understood what was going on!  So Chris found a boogie board sled at Wal-Mart.  We figured that would work.  We also got him a little toddler set of real golf clubs....well actually my uncle gave them to us.  He had them for his grandkids when they were young, but they were too small for them now.  When Jace woke up and came out his eyes lit up!!  It was so cute.  He just said, "wow!"  He ran over to the sled and said my skate board!!  Lol!! So excited!  Then he saw the golf clubs!  He picked one of the clubs up and we had to tell him not to swing it in the house.  Then he quickly asked where his tees were.  Oops, Santa forgot tees.  Lol.  Seriously kids make Christmas so much fun!  Here are some pictures from our morning!
