Jaxon 8 months old!!

Woo hoo!  I'm 8 months old!

My serious face!

Am I done?

Oh you want a smile?!

Big brother watching from the sidelines!  Can't believe how big he looks in this picture!

Weight:  23 lbs. (3 pounds bigger than Jace at this age!)

Clothes: All 12-18 month size clothes and pjs!

Diapers:  Honest Size 4

-first swing ride at the park

Likes:

-Max
-Eating
-Rolling around and military crawling
-Being held and being around people
-Getting attention
-Riding in the front pack, facing out so he can see what's going on
-Riding in a stroller (loves watching people)

Dislikes:
-Being in the car seat
-Not being held/getting attention

So chill:
Jaxon is seriously such a chill baby as long as he is being held.  He seriously loves to be held, loves it.  If I set him down on the ground to play with toys by himself, he will do it for a few minutes but them looks for me and starts crying.  It's cute that he likes people, but definitely makes it tougher to get things done.  Jace was super independent from the beginning, but Jax is definitely more "needy."  But if he is being held or in the front pack, sometimes I forget he is there!  He is so content.  Except when he starts to pull my hair -- but otherwise he's good!

More daring:
Jax has really started to figure out this whole military crawl.  At first he would just kind of roll a little bit to get where he wanted to go.  But now he is starting to get more determined and will pull himself to a toy or to me to be held!

Baby sign language:
We started using the same signs with Jax as we did with Jace.  It was SO awesome for Jace and really helped him communicate at an earlier age.  And I think it helped Jace start talking sooner (and now he won't stop!  ha!)  Max loves watching them, but definitely isn't as locked in as Jace.  Jace loved books, baby signing time -- all that stuff at a young age.  And Jax seems to lose interested faster.  So we will see how that plays out!  So far Jax has started to sign "all done" but that's about it so far!

Baby babble:
Jaxon was pretty quiet when it came to babbling for a long time.  He would cry and squeal, but wouldn't really babble.  But he is finally starting to make some of those consonant sounds.  He said da-da one morning while Chris was here, so Chris was excited about that!  And we have heard ma-ma, Bbbbb, Tttttt, and lots of other cute babbles.  He will also squeal or grunt when I leave the room -- already starting a little separation anxiety!  lol.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of the boys from this month!  :)

Peek-a-boo!

Trampoline time!

I found Jace in here with Jax when he went in to say hi! lol
