I just realized that I haven't blogged about our amazing pup in a few months! Well we haven't forgotten about him, but ask Max and he might say something different. Our spoiled little friend has had to share our attention with our newest arrival, Jace, and he is not happy about it. Max will completely avoid both Chris or I if we are holding Jace, he will run away if you try to bring Jace close to him, and he has started sleeping in our walk-in closet to avoid hearing Jace cry in the middle of the night. If he does happen to fall asleep in our bedroom, he will quickly get up and walk into the closet as soon as he hears our little man wake up! It's so funny! Chris and I have been trying to do our best to play with him and give him attention, but his life has still changed a lot since Jace has been here. I'm sure he will snap out of it once Jace is old enough to play with him, but for now Chris and I take turns giving him lots of love!
Poor guy! He'll come around. You should lure him with treats :-) Love all the updates!
ReplyDeleteYour little Max is one of the reasons that I started following your blog the other reason is that you are friends with my very sweet niece Heather Denove. We also have a Mini Aussie (Porthos) with ,the exact same markings as your little Max. I love to hear about your adventures with him. You are absolutely right, he will love Jace when he is old enough to interact with him. Our Porthos sits and waits for our grandchildren to walk through the door. I love watching them together.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your beautiful baby boy!!!!
I will keep following your blog.
