Turbo Fire!! Yay!

The past couple months I started trying a new at home workout called Turbo Fire.  It is a series of DVDs of high intensity cardio through kickboxing, plyometrics and dance moves.  When I first ordered the DVDs I was totally skeptical.  Being a runner/gym rat I didn't expect a DVD to give me a good workout.  A couple years ago, Chris and I even did a different DVD workout called P90X....it was more geared toward men with lots of push-ups and pull-ups.  I did it with Chris and it was fun to have a workout we could do together, but I still felt like it wasn't right for me.  I missed doing cardio and I never finished a workout sweating....which I like because it makes me feel like I accomplished something.  So again, like I said, I wasn't expecting too much when I ordered this.

I was so wrong!  These videos are intense!  Every workout I finish completely sweating, breathing hard with my heart beating like crazy!  It's amazing!  Plus, it is more geared towards women and focuses on abs, core, butt, legs and toning arms....no bulking, which I love!  It is so nice to have something I can do at home.  I wouldn't be as motivated if I had to take Jace to the gym and leave him in a day care.  With these DVDs I can do a full hour workout and shower during Jace's naps.  It is perfect for our lifestyle.  I just wanted to share and give you and little insight into what I do all day while Chris is gone playing ball.  :)  Oh and I posted a little video below if you want to see parts of the videos....it looks cheesy, but I swear it's addicting and so fun!
