Happy Easter!!

Even though Easter was like 3 weeks ago, I still had to update you all with some pictures and tell you what we did!  Chris was on a road trip which was such a bummer!  So the three of us tried to make the best of it!  The day before, we made Easter cupcakes.  Jace was a huge helper -- he stirred the batter and helping do the frosting and sprinkles.  It was a lot of fun!  We also died Easter eggs and turned them into Minions!!  Jace loved them and had a lot of fun picking out the stickers to make their faces.  So we had our cupcakes and our Easter eggs...we were ready for the Easter bunny!!

I packed up their Easter baskets that night.....I mean, er, the Easter bunny came!  Jace was SO excited when he woke up to see the baskets.  And since Jaxon was still asleep he even opened Jaxon's basket too.  Lol!   Sigh.  We got dressed and went off to church!  We waited and went to the 11am service so we could enjoy a relaxing morning.  Church was great!  Afterward we came home, had lunch and enjoyed one of the delicious cupcakes we had made!  That night for dinner I made pulled pork with mashed potatoes and a salad.  It was pretty lonely being away from all our families and friends....I really hate being "alone" on the holidays.  But it was still a pretty fun day!  Here are some pictures of everything we did...
