Well the Round Robin playoffs officially started on December 28th. There are 5 teams from the Venezuelan Baseball League that made it in the playoffs: Los Leones (Chris' team, the Lions), Los Navigantes (the Navigators), Los Aguilas (the Eagles), Los Tiburones (the Sharks) and Los Bravos (the Braves). Each team plays every team 4 times, twice at home and twice away. So far Chris' team has won all three of the games that they have played so far! Woo hoo! They are playing Los Navigantes at 5:00pm tonight at home. This team is their biggest rival! Should be a crazy game tonight!
Chris and I are still planning on coming home around January 15th and we are counting down the days! We are starting to really miss our friends and family....and speaking English, and being able to hear people on the phone long enough to have a conversation, and American food, and good coffee with Hazelnut creamer, and milk, and fresh vegetables, and fruit, and home made food, and BBQ steak, and potatoes, and our house, and our comfy bed, and different clothes, and a washer and dryer, and traffic that doesn't honk or drive crazy and many, many other things! Its weird what little things you miss when you don't have it! LOL! :)
Day 35 done...13 more to go!! (less than two weeks!)
