Chris and I Just found out that we are coming home tomorrow...10 days early. Woo hoo!! :) The team puts a lot of pressure on the managers to win in the playoffs....there is a lot of money at stake. And the managers want to go with the catchers that they are comfortable with, even though Chris has the best batting average out of all of them. Whatever, as long as we are coming home, thats all that matters. Chris played awesome while he was out here and he got to work with the Indians big league hitting coach one-on-one. So it was a very successful trip and it will just put Chris that much further ahead of the rest of the players going into spring training. :)
The only thing that I am bummed about is that I won't get to eat arepas anymore! They have become the highlight to my breakfast. Chris doesn't really like them, but they are my favorite. They're mini pancake-like bread made out of corn meal and they are lightly fried. They have them downstairs for breakfast everyday. And while we were in Margarita for the playoffs, we went to a restaurant right on the beach. They had HUGE arepas that they served as appetizers! They were so amazing that I had to take some pictures!

Well can't wait to see everyone when we get home!
Day 37 done...only one more to go!!! :)
