Over labor day weekend, I was able to spend a few days with Chris down in Anaheim! It was so much fun to get away, sleep in without Max waking us up, and hang out with our friends. Although at first I thought California was going to disappoint! It was cloudy for the first day and a half we were there! I wanted to leave the clouds in Seattle...not bring them with me! But lucky for us, the clouds cleared up on the second day and we got a few days of hot sunshine.
Our good friends Erick and Erica live in Anaheim right near the Angels stadium. It works out perfectly so that every time Chris plays down there, we get to see our friends too! When we see them two things are a must....sushi and frozen yogurt!! We were able to squeeze in both of our traditions before our two friends had to start work again on Tuesday. They are both teachers at a local high school and the school year started the day after labor day! So the timing of our trip was perfect! :)
