7 months old!

Jace is turning 7 months old today!  This month was fully of laughs, giggles, and grabbing everything!  Jace is so curious and just wants to grab everything he sees.  And then as soon as he grabs it, it goes straight in his mouth!  Ha ha!  He still loves people and is always smiling!  Other then grabbing everything, he drools on everything!  Most of the time his shirts are soaked...poor guy!  It's hard to get pictures of him without drool all over his chin.  Ha ha!  Here are some more pictures of our 7 month photo shoot with his bear!  :)

Weight:  18 lbs, 6 oz

Clothes: 9-12 months....all of the 6-9 month outfits are getting tight already!

Diapers:  We moved on up to size 3 diapers this month!  And we need every inch...he has some very full diapers!  Must be all the solids he is eating now!

Firsts this month:

First time in a pool - 05/17/12

Likes:

Sitting up - he can do it all on his own now!

Solid food - apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, pears, prunes & carrots

Babbling - he talks ALL the time

Squealing - when he gets really excited he squeals...it's pretty cute

His stomach getting tickled

Dislikes:

Avocado - its the only food he won't eat so far

Getting startled - he gets scared pretty easy

His first cold:

Jace got two colds this month!  I think he was catching them from the family room in Tampa...a lot of the kids that played in there are old enough to be in school so they were bringing all of their germs in there with them.  Jace first got a head cold the beginning of May that he had for a couple weeks.  We couldn't get his nose to stop running.  And then just when we thought he was getting over that cold, he got another one.  Expect this one included a hacking cough and a fever.  I even had to take the little guy to urgent care Memorial Day weekend because he was so sick!  Poor guy had to use a little inhaler to help open up his lungs so he could cough all the junk out!  It was awful, but he was so good through all of it.  He was even giggling and laughing with all the doctors and nurses at the urgent care with an awful cough and a fever.  Such a trooper!

Talking:

Jace is a talker.  He is always making noises, babbling or squeaking.  Especially in the morning!  He wakes us up,not with crying, but with happy baby babble.  It's really cute.  Then for the first hour or so while he's awake he is just constant talking.  We have to tell him to be quiet so he doesn't wake up the other baby that we are living with.  He has also started saying the consonant "b."  But other than that no da-da or ma-ma yet!  We're still working on those!

Sitting up:

Jace can completely sit up by himself now.  Its' so cute to see him sitting up playing his toys.  Every now and then he will fall over but for the most he's really good!  Now he gets bored just lying on his back of stomach and will cry until we sit him up.  He's barely started to try and push himself forward into a crawl, but I'm sure it will be pretty soon!
