We're going home!

In about a week, Jace and I will be make the long plane ride back home to Nevada to start a two week road trip!  While I am so excited to see everyone, it's going to be hard to be away from Chris for two full weeks!  That will be the longest we will be apart since Jace was born.  And I know Chris is so jealous that I get to go home, see family and his buddy, Max.  But hopefully Chris will stay busy with baseball and I will stay busy visiting with lots of family and friends.  Here's a rundown of our trip...we have a lot planned!  :)

First, my best friend Amanda is getting married to her amazing finance Mike!  I couldn't be happier for her.  I'm lucky enough to stand with her on her special day as her matron of honor.

Jace is going to be my date and we got him an amazing tan suit that he's gonna wear for the big day.  Here's what it looks like....I just can't wait to get him in it!  But I'm not sure how long the hat will actually stay on.  ;)

Then we will spend a couple extra days in Reno with Gramma and Grandpa Burt.  My parents haven't seen Jace in a couple months so they are excited about getting some good quality time with the little guy.  While we are in Reno Jace will also get to see Max!  Jace and Max have not been around each other since Jace was 3 months old....I'm really curious what both of them are going to think of each other.  Especially Max...he wasn't a fan of Jace when we first brought him home from the hospital, so we will see how that goes!

Then we will make the 4 hour drive to California and pit stop in Dublin, CA to see another one of my best friends, Caresse.  We are going to grab lunch and hang out in the beautiful Cali sun!

After lunch, we're going to pick up my sister-in-law Katie and her son Charlie and finish our drive to Gilroy to see Grandpa and Grandma Gimenez!  Jace hasn't seen Pam and Paul since he was 2 months old...wait until they see how big he is now!  While we're in Gilroy we will try and see as many of Chris' family as we can.  Since we live clear across the country we don't get many chances to see family...so I want to make the most of the trip!
