Max made it home! :)

We brought the newest addition to our household home on Saturday afternoon. He had a long, five hour car ride all the way from Doyle, CA. He was born on a farm out in the middle of the country. The breeders not only raise mini Australian Shepherds but they also raise pigs, rabbit, and chicken. When we first went to meet max the breeder was trying to convince us that rabbit was better than chicken...umm, I'll pass. But they were really nice and definitely loved their puppies. Max was totally freaked out by the sound of the engine and started whining like crazy right when we got him in the truck. But he finally wore himself out and fell fast asleep. Chris and I both took turns driving home so we could both hold him. He is just such a snuggle bug. Here are some pictures of the drive home...check out the last one with his tongue hanging out! :)
