Swiss Omelette Christmas....yum!

This year we spent Christmas with Chris' family in Gilroy! On Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents with Chris' parents, his brother Todd and wife, Katie. Even Max got a present from Santa...a life-time supply of "poop bags!" He was thrilled...but I think he enjoyed chewing on the card board box they came in! :) Afterward, we headed to Chris' grandparents house to have breakfast and celebrate with the rest of the "Gimenez" side of the family. Every year, Chris' grandma makes the whole family breakfast which includes potatoes, sausage, bacon, fruit salad and, the best part, swiss omelets with home-made jelly. Swiss omelets are crepe-like pancakes that we top with jelly, peanut butter, butter and syrup...whatever you want! They are soooooo good! This is something that Chris looks forward to every year....well lets be honest, we all look forward to it because they are delicious!

After breakfast we opened gifts. All of the adults each give one gift to their secret santa. But Autumn, Chris' 8 year old cousin, still gets gifts from everyone! Lucky! She had a lot of fun opening all of her gifts. Oh, and Max even made an appearance! He had a busy Christmas meeting a lot of our family and friends down in the Gilroy area! He's such a social dog! Ha ha!
