Chris and I just got back from the PAO Conference in Orlando, FL. PAO = Pro-Athletes Outreach. Yep, in the off season we chose to go hang with baseball players. Ha ha! But seriously it was a great conference. It was seriously the best four days. Plus, we were able to meet so many other couples from other teams around the country. Chris knew most of them, but I was able to meet a bunch of wives too. So even though it was a LONG trip out there, it was definitely worth it.
There were many different speakers that were there during the week, including a pastor named Greg Holder. He might have been the most sarcastic, intelligent, quick witted speaker ever....it was great. During one of his sessions he talked about the idea of Christmas and how it has lost some of its meaning over the years. Watch this video...it will definitely put things into perspective.
