Citrus Everywhere!

I had no idea how well citrus trees grew in AZ!  Who knew?  We actually have a grape fruit tree and an orange tree in our back yard that are both full of fruit!  And in the retirement community that we're living in, (that's right....a retirement community....found that out the other day....awesome), people will put out huge boxes of all types of citrus fruit for other people to take.  One tree produces just too much fruit for one household to eat!

Chris and I actually just met our neighbors across the street last week.  They came over and introduced themselves to us and welcomed us to the neighborhood....and the wife, Joyce, even baked us a pie!!  Not just any pie, but a homemade lemon pie made from the lemons in her backyard.  Now I was a little bit skeptical because to be honest it didn't sound very good.  But let me tell you...that was one amazing pie!!  It even had a homemade crust and meringue on top!!!  Fabulous!
