Ways to live more "green!"

I read this on a friend's blog and I thought it was time that I join the party....I mean my Dad does run a renewable energy company (www.solargenerations.com), so it's about time!  We should all attempt to be more green these days.  Chris and I use a Brita instead of buying water bottles, recycle, and attempt to limit our energy usage.  But here are a couple ideas that we hadn't thought of!

#1 - Reusable Snack Bags
Instead of using plastic bags to pack snacks or sandwiches, use these cute little reusable saks!  It will not only save you money from not having to keep Ziplocs in the house and they are also absolutely adorable!  They come in all different sizes and designs.  :)

#2 - Mason Jars
Another idea, instead of using plastic tupperware for leftovers trade them in for mason jars.  Not only does it save you from trying to find the lid that fits, but it also makes leftovers look so much more appealing!  At this website you can buy a pack of 12 starting at $8.99!

#3 - Reusable Paper Towels
It is amazing how many paper towels Chris and I go through every year!!  This is an awesome way to cut back on paper usage, but I know Max will miss chewing on the paper towel rolls when they are empty.  Sorry buddy!
