Our back yard started out as dirt and a hill. We have about a five foot hill going up into our back fence and we had no idea what we were going to do to get the most out of our .25 acre lot. So we met with a couple landscapers to find out what would be the best solution for our lot. One guy that we met with was so creative! He said to view our five foot sloping hill as a positive to add more appeal to our backyard. He wanted to add a lower patio for the BBQ and main seating, a upper patio for a fire pit and secondary seating and a little walk way up the hill for a small seating area to drink wine and watch the sunset! Plus he would add grass, trees and plants keeping a "tahoe" feel! We would have NEVER thought of any of that....so we decided to go with him! He brought his crew out earlier this week and started working! Attached are some pictures of the progress so far...it should be finished in about 2 more weeks!! So hopefully we can have a couple BBQ's before it gets to cold! :)
