I'm starting to work on my new year's resolutions and one of them was to get Jace out of the house twice a week. It is so easy for he to get stuck in our daily routine at home, but I know how important it is for Jace to get out, play with other kids and experience new things! So this year we will spend a lot of time going to parks, play dates, kids gyms, museums, water parks, and zoos. Plus, it will help make those long road trips without Chris go by that much faster!
This past week we went to the Discovery Museum in Reno with a few of my friends and their kids. It was great! Here are some pictures from our little excursion!

I also signed up Jace for Gymboree! It's basically a padded play gym with slides, tubes, balls, and stairs....its awesome. It's a great place to learn new skills without getting hurt! We have been going 1-2 times a week. Jace is in a group that is for 10-16 month olds....so he gets to play with other kids his age. It's been a lot of fun and I'm hoping that I can find another Gymboree in whatever city we end up in this year! Here is a picture of the gym....pretty cool!
Very cute! I'm going to try my best to get Addie out of the house more during baseball season too! I think it will be good for me and her!!

ReplyDeleteMeg, so true!! We get just as stir crazy when the guys are on the road as the kids do! Definitely good for both of us! Caresse, hopefully he'll be a little social butterfly....just like his Auntie Caresse! ;)
