We made it to Florida!

What a long trip!! Last night we checked into our hotel around 5:00pm and all three of us were exhausted! Even though it was a long day, we had a great trip! Both of our flights were on time, we got our own row both times and Jace was amazing!! Yay! We couldn't have asked for a smoother trip! And even better, our second flight was on a brand new SWA plane. It was actually really nice with ambient lighting, bigger leather seats and much more head room (for us 6-footers!). After we landed in FL we took a taxi to the stadium where our two, packed cars have been waiting for us since Friday after the were shipped. Then we drove a couple miles to our hotel right on the marina! We have to stay here for a few nights until our rental is available on Feb. 1st! The hotel is in a gorgeous location...right across the street from the water. So while Chris was at the field working out this morning, Jace and I went for a jog....it was so nice to enjoy the nice weather! It's been in the 30's in Reno...so 75 degrees feels like heaven!

Chris will keep working out with the team at the stadium in St. Petersburg Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a couple weeks until pitchers and catchers report on February 12th. Then, he will be down at the spring training facility in Port Charlotte, FL until the season starts. Oddly enough, the Rays spring training facility isn't at their big league stadium, but two hours south. So on the 1st, we will all move down to Port Charlotte into our spring training rental and Chris will make the drive three days a week back up to St. Pete. While it's not ideal for Chris, it made more sense for us to just get settled in one place and back in a routine for Jace. I'll keep you posted on our move in a couple days and will post pictures of our new "home," but for now, here are pictures from our trip yesterday! :)

New Southwest plance with ambient lighting!  So fancy!
Chris and Jace watching a movie!
Snuggled up for a little nap!
We made it!  Cuddle time at the hotel!
The view from our walk yesterday....not to shabby!  :)
