We have been down in AZ for about a month now and I have only laid out in the sun once! And its not that I don't have the time...I have plenty of that...its because the weather down here has been crazy! We have seen highs barely in the low 60's, lots of clouds, wind and rain! Yesterday, Chris' game was cancelled at 12pm because they got so much rain here yesterday morning. It rained all day and then last night we had a huge thunder storm! So much for this AZ heat!
Now that the games have started, we are going to have a lot of visitors coming to watch Chris play. Tomorrow Aunty Peggy and Uncle Bill (from Chris' side of the family) are going to come watch the Indians take on the Seattle Mariners in Peoria, AZ. This weekend two of our close friends from UNR, Erick and Erica Streelman, will be here for the weekend. The following week Chris' brother Todd will be here. And the last weekend in March my parents and my best friend Amanda will be here for 4 days. The next weekend is Easter and then spring training is over! I can't wait to see everyone, but I have a feeling its going to fly by and we will be in Ohio before we know it! I guess I should stop complaining about the 60 degree weather because that will feel hot compared to 30 degrees we will see in Ohio in a couple weeks!
Chris traveled down to Tucson today to play the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hopefully they won't get any rain down there today so they can kick butt and drive home. :)
