Chris' brother Todd came into town today with one of his friends Jason. Jason also works for the San Jose police department and was in Todd's police academy class. They both have Tuesday-Thursday off...and Chris happened to have this Wednesday off too! So tomorrow the boys are going to go golfing! Todd is already talking crap to Chris about kicking his butt on the golf course! I took some pictures at the game today. It was a little chilly today and overcast...a big difference from the 80 degree weather we have had!
We had another visitor at the game today...Alexander Toregas! Alexandar is Wyatt Toregas' 1 month old son. He was born two days before Wyatt had to head out to spring training. So Holly, his wife, has been holding down the fort back home in Akron, Ohio. Alexander was such a good baby for his baseball debut! He slept most of the time and only fussed a little bit....what a trooper. Holly let me hold for a little while and he was such a little cuddle bug!
After the game, Chris took the boys and I around the club house to see the weight room, practice fields and batting cages. And he introduced Todd to Travis Hafner...Todd was pretty excited to meet him! A couple more days and then my parents will be here! And my best friend Amanda will be down here too! I can't wait to see everyone!
The Indians had a tough day yesterday, but I think Alex' presence may have had a positive effect on his Daddy's performance. As a great-aunt in VA, I'm just happy to see his sleepy little face. Thanks Kellie.
