We are about a mile from the field and in that mile there are tons of little hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Well since Chris had a day game yesterday, we decided to go out to dinner and try one of the places downtown that we've heard about. We decided to go to Ted's. It's a burger and steak restaurant that serves primarily Bison meat! We went with two other couples on the team...Erica and Jess Todd and Brian, Sarah Buscher and their baby girl Finley. Finley is only three weeks old and she is so cute!! Chris and I both decided we were going to try their Bison burger...but they serve them like 20 different ways. Chris got the "S.O.B" which had swiss cheese, onions and bacon. I had the "Monterey" which had monterey cheese, guacomole and green chiles! It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!
The Clippers finished off their first series with Indianapolis winning two and losing two. Today, they will start a quick two game series with Louisville. The weather has finally warmed up a bit, so thats been a lot nicer for me! It was freezing the first couple games. They're home for the next four days and then on the road for a 9-day road trip to Indy, Louisville and Toledo.
Hello my friend!!! I didn't know you had a blog?! How adorable it is! It looks like you guys are having a blast. Tell everyone that I say hello : ) Catherine Aguilar, a pitcher's wife who was traded to us from the Brewers two weeks before season started, is my new buddy here. We caravaned from Arizona and we've been hanging out 24/7 since the boys started on a week long road trip-they come home tomorrow...finally! Miss you guys!
