On the Road Again!

Chris left early this morning on another 8 day road trip. He is first headed to a 4-game series versus the Pawtucket Red Sox, just outside of Boston and then heading to Rochester, NY for 4 days to play the Red Wings. Although I'm bummed that he will be gone for the next week, I have some fun things planned with some of the girls. This weekend, four of us are headed out to Virginia! One of the wives is from there...so we are going to stay in her town house for the weekend and lay by the pool, read gossip magazine and relax. One of the days we are probably going to head up to Washington DC! I have never been there, so I'm really excited to take a quick trip up there to see our country's capital. Then, next week we all got tickets to go see Dave Matthew's. He is playing at the Clipper's baseball stadium while they are on the road. Well, I should be honest...we actually didn't get tickets. The clubhouse manager is going to sneak us into the stadium and we are going to watch the concert from the dugout! And finally, we are going to take a shopping day down to the outlet mall! One of the girls works at the Nike Outlet, so we are going to go have lunch with her and spend the day shopping! So hopefully with all of that planned the road trip will go by fast and Chris will be home in no time. Is it bad that I miss him already? :)
