Trip to Indianapolis to play the Indians!

Last week Chris played a 4-day series in Indianapolis and I tagged along! It was such a fun trip! The stadium is so nice. It felt more like a big league stadium than a minor league field. It was a huge, with great food and it was packed every night...they had great fans. They even had the lineup listed in the wall like they do in the big leagues....I took a picture of it one night when Chris started.

Downtown Indy is awesome...great restaurants and stores. Chris had a day game on Sunday, so after the game we went out to dinner with 4 other couples. We went to this cool restaurant called Scotty's Brew Pub. It was a great little sports pub. All of the booths had individual flat screen TVs and they had a bunch of sports memorabilia everywhere. They even had a row of old stadium seats near the front door. We had a great dinner and even had room for the "Cookie Monster" for dessert. It was a huge bowl filled with warm chocolate chip cookies, ice cream and hot fudge sauce...Yummm!!

Funny story, while we were sitting in the restaurant this Pacers fan walked in the door dressed in all Pacers colors! Included a leather jacket and matching leather face mask!!! It was the creepiest thing I have ever seen! We asked the waitress about him and she says that he comes in every week and wears the same thing every time! Weird!!

We couldn't leave Indy without driving by Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts play. The stadium is HUGE!!!!!!! We only had time to drive by, but it was still really cool! I bet it is so fun to see a game there!
