Visiting the Rossi's

Last week while Chris was in Kansas City, I drove up to Detroit to spend the week with my cousins...Dawn, Mike, Jayleen and Joseph! We had such a great few days. We just relaxed, played games, and chatted. It was so much fun! Chris and the team flew into Detroit on Thursday to play a three game series. My cousins were able to come to the game on Saturday and watch Chris catch. Jayleen and Joseph proudly wore their Indians shirts with Chris' name on the back and Mike even wore an Indians hat (even though he is a Tigers fan!) I was so proud! Ha ha!

While I was there they introduced me to an amazing game called Banana Grams. Now don't let the name fool you...this is not a kids game. One night Dawn and I stayed up until mid night playing against each other! This is an intense scrabble-like word game that is so much fun! On Saturday before the game, Chris and I went to lunch with them and then came back to the hotel so we could teach Chris how to play. He loved it and beat us TWICE! I couldn't believe how good he was. At the end of our trip Dawn surprised us with our own Banana Grams game! And the pieces are even stored in a cloth shaped banana! LOL! I was so excited...and all of our friends and family better be ready to play this game in the off-season! :)
