After the Seattle trip, I followed the team down to Anaheim, CA to watch them play the Angels. We were lucky enough to see both our parents. Chris' parents, Pam and Paul, drove down from Gilroy and my parents, Karen and Larry, flew down from Reno. It was so nice to spend some time with them! Chris' cousin Brittney and her friend Laura drove over from the Long Beach area to watch the game on Monday too. We were also lucky enough to see Erica and Erick...some of our closest friends from college. Erica was actually one of my bridesmaids! They live one block away from the field! So we were able to see their condo and spend some time with them. They had some great restaurants suggestions!
The first night after the game we all went to a local bar called "The Catch." We all had a drink and just visited for awhile with everyone. The next day, my parents, Chris' parents, Erick and Erica met Chris and I at "Chomp." It was an amazing sushi restaurant in town! After sushi, I walked around downtown Disney with my parents!
Finally, on the last day we all met up with our college friend Tony and his sister Lisa for breakfast. We went to another suggestion by Erick and Erica called "The Filling Station." It was great! Lisa brought her two-year-old twins, Charlotte and Hayley. They were too cute! I even got a picture of Paul hanging out with Charolette!! He does like kids after all! :)
The last day, my parents and I went to a late lunch at a restaurant called the "Alcatraz Brewing Company." It was really cool. It had a huge replica of the Golden Gate Bridge inside the restaurant. All of the menu items made references to nor-cal...including a Gilroy Garlic Burger!? I couldn't believe it...so I took a picture! Ha ha! It was a great trip!
