One more week!!!

It's hard to believe that we only have one more week left in Cleveland, OH. Next Thursday is not only the last off day for the Indians, it is also that last day in our Cleveland apartment. Then the team leaves for a quick three day trip to play the Chicago White Sox, and then Chris will fly home to California! Yippee!! I can't tell you how excited we both are to be home with our families and friends. I feel like we miss out on so much being gone all year. But hopefully we can make up for lost time while we are home. The only sad part is that we will only be home in California for four full months. That's only one month longer than we have lived in Cleveland! When I think about it like that I realize how fast this off season is going to go.

We have a lot of fun things planned already. First, Chris is going to take a week long hunting trip to WA in October with his brother, uncle and grandpa. He is really looking forward to that and is already studying online. And if you know my husband, he doesn't study for anything so I can tell he is really excited. Then, the first week in November we are heading to Cabo San Lucas. A couple of our good friends, Nick and Bryn, are getting married on November 8th (the day after our anniversary). So not only do we get to help them celebrate their special day, but we also have an excuse to take a second honeymoon for our one year anniversary! :) Finally, the first week in January we are going to Costa Rica with my parents for 10 days. They went last year and had a blast, so they decided to make a family vacation out of it this year. Other than those big trips, we will just be spending as much time with friends and family as we can before we start it all over again next year!!
