So this year leading up to Halloween I was not motivated to dress up. I was just feeling lazy and we couldn't think of anything that would be fun. Even Amanda and Mike couldn't think of anything that they wanted to be either. We decided to give up and just go to a bar and people watch. Well then it was Halloween night...at 7:30pm...and we decided that we wanted to dress up. Talk about last minute. We jumped in the car and drove to the Halloween store down the street to try and throw something together. We were actually really successful! Amanda decided to go as Snooki from the Jersey Shore, I was Taylor Swift, and Mike and Chris dressed up as basketball players from Tropic Thunder! It was so much fun...I'm so glad we decided to dress up after all.
We went to a local bar in down town Pleasanton. Well apparently when you go to a bar in suburban America the crowd is not a bunch of 20-year olds. We were probably the youngest people in the bar. They had a live band that was playing a lot of oldies. But we still had a ton of fun people watching and seeing all the middle-aged people tear it up on the dance floor. I had a ton of people lip syncing into the microphone I brought to finish off my Taylor costume. Mike even had some random "cougar" come up and kiss him on the cheek at the end of the night! It was a great night!
