Last night Chris' parents and his aunt Cindy came up to Dublin yesterday. They wanted to celebrate our one-year anniversary (so sweet) and visit with a couple close family friends, Cory and Lynette. They are our age and just had a little baby boy named Graden. He is so cute...but a little chunckster!! He weighs almost 16 pounds and is only 2 months old! He looks like he is a 6-month-old baby! I couldn't believe it!
We each took our turns holding him. I lasted like 30 seconds....he got wrapped up in a long necklace I was wearing and starting crying!! I hate making babies cry so I quickly handed him off to Chris. After we got his hand untangled from my necklace (note to self), Chris started gently bouncing him up and down to calm him down. Silence. Graden just cuddled up right in his arms and fell asleep. It was the cutest thing. But then Chris didn't want to stop bouncing him in fear that he would wake up. But finally like 20 minutes later, Lynette laid him down so we could say good bye.
After we walked out the door Chris started shaking out his arm!! He said, "Man, that guy's heavy! P90X what?" Ha ha! I thought it was funny! At least I know he has the "dad bounce" down. :)
