Jace is 3 Months Old!!

I'm sure I will say this every month, but I can't believe that our little man is a month older!!  He has changed so much this month!  He has started to smile and giggle...which has become my new favorite thing.  He also is starting to get a little personality...which is so fun!  Here are some other things about this month...

Weight/Height:  13 lbs, 6 oz, 24 inches (this is as of January 25th...we're convinced he's over 15 pounds now!)

Clothes:  Jace has been wearing 3-6 month old clothes for the past 2 weeks or so!  He's wearing 6 month old pjs...doesn't even fit in the 3 month old ones anymore because he is too long!  He is definitely going to be tall like his parents!  

Likes:  listening to the music and looking at the lights on his play gym, "talking" with dad, being tickled on his belly and under his chin, watching TV - he loves looking at the colors, sitting upright...he's actually getting really good at holding his head up, and going for walks in the jogging stroller.

Dislikes: being tired, being hungry or being cold....but other than that he is a really happy baby!

Sleep:  He is an amazing sleeper!  Starting a few fews ago, he started sleeping through the night!  Yippee!  Now he consistently sleeps 11-12 hours a night!  We normally give him his bath around 8:00pm, feed him and he goes right to sleep!  Then he wakes up around 7:30-8:00am the next morning...amazing!!  He takes a few naps a day as well...he can only stay up for a couple hours before he needs a little shut eye.

Learning new things:  Jace has learned a few new things this month.  He has started to bat at toys hanging over his head and even started to grab things....eye/hand coordination!  He has learned to kinda of scoot up by pushing with his legs....thats how he has figured out how to twist sideways in his crib at night.  He learned how to break out of a swaddle...he's a strong little guy.  He has learned how to "talk" more and we spend a lot of the day "cooing" back and forth.  He is also laughing and smiling a lot more...which melts my heart!

Max:  Max is still not a fan of his "little brother."  But he doesn't avoid him as much as he used to.  During the first few weeks, Max wouldn't even come close to us if we were holding Jace.  But now he will lay on the couch semi-close to us if we are holding him.  Progress!  I'm sure by the time Jace starts eating solid foods and dropping it on the floor they will be best friends!
