First World Series Game!!

All three of us experienced our first World Series Game on Thursday.  While I wish we were watching Chris play, it was still a once in a lifetime opportunity to go watch a game.  One of Chris' best friends works for the Giants and was able to get us tickets in left field.  We got up bright and early, ate breakfast and got on the road.  We hit awful traffic going over the mountain, but still got to the city about 3 hours before the game.

I'm all ready to go mom!
We parked in a lot right near the stadium, tailgated with a couple beers and fed Jace some lunch.  Then we went to a restaurant across the street and chips, and guacamole.  Delicious!  We met up with Chris' friends and all went into the game!

Family photo!  :)
While this is pretty normal for Jace and I, it was so weird for Chris to be sitting in the stadium with us.  Jace did awesome...and even the noise of the crazy Giants fans didn't phase him.  He's a seasoned vet when it comes to baseball games.  We sat for the first few innings and then had to get some Gilroy garlic fries (I mean my husband is from Gilroy!).  Jace was worn out from the whole day and fell asleep in the 7th inning.  Doesn't he know that this is the World Series??  Ha ha!  But he didn't great!  Didn't cry once the whole day and slept the whole way home.  Yes, we are crazy and drove three hours and three and three hours back in one day.  We didn't get home until 2am, but it was worth it.  Such a fun day!  :)

First game together!
Garlic fries!
Worn out!
