Yankees avoid sweep with 7-1 victory over Mariners

A picture worth 1,000 words!
Sometimes umpires miss calls...it's just the nature of the game. But this one really made me laugh. During the Mariners game on Sunday, Chris tagged one of the Yankees out at home, but the umpire called him safe. Chris argued the call...which is really unlike him. He normally doesn't like to make a scene, but that's how I knew that Chris was sure that he tagged him out! The next day this picture was in the paper along with the headline below that says "Gimenez misses the tag." Umm...take a closer look. Home plate is behind Chris' left leg and arm....so there's no way Swisher could have tagged up yet. Sometimes pictures are worth 1,000 words. :)

Out by a mile! But I definitely wish I could have seen Chris argue a call.
