Max caught a little cold!

Check out these puppy dog eyes.  Now add a horrible little cough.  And that's about how Max looked last week before we took him to vet.  It was so sad.  After a quick check up, the vet said that he had kennel cough and had probably caught it from being boarded.  Poor guy.  But during the check up she tested his heart and his lung too...and we got some good news.  After listening to his lungs she asked, "do you run with him or something?"  I told her that I take him for walks, but that he chases the swallows near our apartment all the time.  She said that he had some of the most healthy lungs she had ever heard!  Even with kennel cough!  That a boy!!

We put him on antibiotics for 10 days and then took him back to the vet for a quick check up.  Everything looks great!  And he's back to his normal self...no more of these sad puppy eyes!  Thank goodness.
