Sad time of the season.

The trade deadline.  July 31st marks the last day of trades in the MLB.  And that also means that many of the friends we have made over the past 6 months are going to be moving on to different teams.  These players and their wives really become like family to us when we are away for the season.  With the recent trades, we lost three players.  While this is amazing for their careers, we are sad to see them leave. I'm also sad to see their wives and kids leave too.  I see these girls nearly every day, go through the ups and downs of the baseball life, and we keep each other company while the boys are on the road.  They truly are amazing women and I'm so glad that our lives have crossed paths!
