5K this morning with the girls!

This morning I ran a 5K (3.1 miles)! Yay! It was so much fun! A couple weeks ago, Eylse, one of the player's fiance suggested that a few of us run in the race. It started right in downtown at 8:00am this morning. There were four of us girls that decided to run it...Katie, Elyse and Erica. This was the first race that Eylse and Erica have ever done, so they were extra excited and nervous. And we were so lucky because our husbands got up early to come watch us! We normally don't wake up until 10am since we get home so late from the games...so the 6:30am alarm was not fun for either of us!! But Chris was a trooper...he was up with a coffee, camera and cheered us on! It was kind of fun to have our husbands cheering us on for a change since were always in the stands cheering for them! Afterward, we went to this awesome breakfast place right by the stadium called Sunny Street Cafe. It was amazing and a great start to the month of May!
