Words to live by....and a little baseball update! :)

I'm reading a great book called "Calm My Anxious Heart," for our Bible/Book group. Last night I read a great quote that I thought I would share. The author is talking about what it takes to be content in live and here are the 5 lessons she says we all need to live by...

*Never allow yourself to complain about anything - even the weather.
*Never picture yourself in any other circumstances or someplace else.
*Never compare your lot with another's.
*Never allow yourself to wish this or that had been otherwise.
*Never dwell on tomorrow - remember that tomorrow is God's, not ours.

I always google Chris and try and find some good pictures of him. I found this one today taken during the national anthem. Such a cool picture of all the guys on the team. You can see Chris six guys from the right.



And a little up date on baseball! The Columbus Clippers are leading their division with 22 wins, thats also the highest number of wins in the entire international league! We have some amazing hitters on this team...including Chris. All but one hitter have averages over .250! Thats so impressive! Chris has been on fire lately. Ever since he hit his walk off homer in April, he has been unstoppable. I don't want to talk about it too much because I don't want to jinx him, so I'm just going to post a link to his stats for the his last 10 games and let you be the judge. :)
