Kids Run the Bases

A couple times a year, the Indians let all of the kids in the stands run the bases after the game. Yesterday when the kids ran the bases, they had a hand full of players stand out there and high-five the kids. The Indians are trying to be more fan-friendly and show their fans that they care about them. Even Manny Acta, the Indians manager (#11), was out there high-fiving the kids as they crossed home plate! It was so cute to see kids of all sizes running around out there. Some parents were even taking their little 1-year-olds that are just learning to walk around the bases...so cute! Apparently, every kid in the stadium wanted to be out there, because Chris stood out there for over an hour after the game! He said that his arm was so tired from giving all those high-fives! Ha ha! You can see him standing in between first and second base with a red and navy warm up jacket. I even got a quick picture of him giving high fives on the big screen. :)
