This photo of Brendan Ryan pretty much sums up how the M's have been playing lately! They swept the Detroit Tigers in a three game series earlier in the week and now they are leading the Red Sox two games to nothing heading in to the series finale this afternoon. And even better, the Mariner's won last night's game 2-0, leaving Boston scoreless in front of their home crowd. This is the first time this has happened since April 22, 2010!! Woo hoo!! Let's hope they can hold on for the sweep today and come home undefeated. Right now they are tied with the Indians for the longest winning streak in baseball right now with 5 wins each...I hope Seattle wins that battle!
