Themed trips!

Tonight Chris left with the rest of the team for their three game series in Texas against the Rangers. This trip was the first themed trip of the season. The manager likes to have fun on the trips...so a lot of the time he has themes. Last year for example they had a beach trip...so all the guys on the team dressed in full on beach attire. It just happened to be the trip against the Mariners so we got to see them all. Some guys had on bathing suits, some had Tommy Bahamas shirts, some were wearing fedoras...it was hilarious!

Well this road trip is the "minimalist." So the boys were supposed to take as little as possible. Chris packs light as it is, so this was really no challenge for him. He wore a pair of jeans and a collared short to the field. Other than that he packed his rolling computer bag with another shirt, under wear (I'm very thankful he didn't go extreme with that!), socks, a tooth brush and that was it! Must be easy being a guy...I would have such a hard time with that!

Here are some pictures of previous years...hockey, grunge and all black! I think it's awesome. It makes it fun for the guys and is good for team bonding. I wish Joe had been my college volleyball coach...we would have had a blast! :)
