Why I love Southwest Airlines...

Yesterday, Jace and I flew down to Tampa. This was the first time I had flown with the little man alone and I was a little nervous. But everything went great!!

We flew Southwest because not only was it the cheapest, it offered the only nonstop flight...plus I got to check two bags free! When I got to the ticket counter one of the Southwest agents helped me with my bags and then didn't even charge me the $50 when one of my was over the 50 lb. weight limit! I had packed Jace's pack and play (portable crib) in one of Chris' bat bags with the rest of the baby gear and apparently I packed it a little too heavy...but the Southwest agent just told me not to worry about it! Thank you!!!

When I got to security, one of the TSA representatives helped me get everything on the conveyor belt. Thank goodness because I hate the idea of being that slow mom holding every one up. Then when I got to the gate the Southwest agent told me the flight wasn't full so I could take my car seat on! Score! A seat for Jace that I didn't have to pay for! Then, the flight was empty enough that I got my own row! Woo hoo!! Which was great so I could play with Jace, put him in his car seat, bounce him on my legs and I wasn't bugging anyone! My return flight isn't for another week, but just in case I have to change the flight (with our life lately that's a good possibility) I can change it for free! Thank you southwest for being the cheapest and easiest airline ever and making my first flight by myself a breeze!
