This week Jace took his first road trip! We are crazy and brought our 5 1/2 month old to New York City! We had to see Chris play in Yankee Stadium for the first time. Even though Chris has been in the big leagues on and off for the past three years, he has never played in Yankee Stadium...so this was exciting for all of us! The first night, Mike - one of my best friends from Reno, came to our hotel to meet Jace. Mike lives and works in the city...what a crazy life! Even though I'm kinda jealous...I always thought taking the subway to work everyday would be fun (but only for a couple months!)

Then, the next morning we got up, grabbed a coffee and walked to Time Square. We were only a couple blocks away so it was really easy to get there. We took a couple pictures and then set off for central park. But I gave us the wrong directions and we walked 1/2 mile in the wrong direction....so we ended up just going back to the hotel. But since we went the wrong way, we were able to see Madison Square Garden where the Knicks play! :)

Later that night, Jace and I headed to the game with three of the other wives. We decided that the train would be easiest. One of the wives is from NYC so she was taking care of us and making sure that we knew where we were going. I decided not to bring the stroller, so I strapped Jace into the baby carrier and off we went. We walked the 8 blocks to Grand Central Station...that's right the lil man has now taken a train out of Grand Central Station! Such a traveled little guy! We took a picture in front of the track number and on the train. We finally made it to Yankee Stadium right before it started pouring!! Uggg!! Luckily the game wasn't delayed, but we were stuck watching up under cover. We didn't get the best picture of the stadium, but that's ok!
