Before I left for Reno it really wasn't too hot in North Carolina. It would maybe get to 80 degrees....and by the time we went to the baseball game it was a pleasant 70 degrees. A lot of times I wore jeans to the games because it was a little cool. Jace was perfectly comfortable at the games too...he would even fall asleep in my arms if he got tired enough. What a difference a month makes.
Chris kept telling me that it was a lot hotter and a lot more humid it was now, but I figured it would be similar to how it was in Florida back in May. It was hot, but totally manageable! But no...they humidity is worse then I expected! The first day we were back in North Carolina, I walked outside and felt like I walked into a hot, muggy oven! I seriously felt like I couldn't breathe...the air was so much thicker then the dry air of Nevada! Jace and I went to our first game last night. He wore a light weight onesie and I wore shorts and a tank top and we were both sweating by the end of the night. I tried to keep us cool with a water bottle filled with ice, but we were both still hot! Jace was so tired too but he couldn't fall asleep because he was just too hot. Hopefully we will both get used to it!! Here is the weather for the next week....it looks like we are going to get a little break this weekend from the mid-90 degree weather we have been having! Thank goodness!!
I just got back to TX from being home in NC and it's much more humid in NC than it is here! Addie and I stayed indoors for the most part :-)
