What a busy couple of weeks! Between visitors, packing, school and Max I haven't had two seconds to sit down at my computer and blog. But I think things have finally settled down enough...so I am back! Last weekend, Chris and I packed up all of our stuff and put all the crazy clown and naked pictures back on the walls as we said good bye to retirement home in Sun City, AZ. Chris had to stay in AZ for a couple more days to finish up spring training while my mom, Max and I made the long 12 hour drive back to Reno. Max was such a trooper on the drive. He spent most of the time in his crate, but every now and then we would let him out of the crate so he could look out the window.
At one point while he was out of the crate we drove over a dozen Desert Bighorn sheep. And a little FYI...that is the Nevada state animal. :)
In the next week, Chris will start the 2011 season with the Tacoma Rainiers, the triple A team for the Mariners. Their first game is in Sacramento against the River Cats! So I am definitely going to make the trip over the mountain for a few days to watch opening day. Then my mom and I are making the second half of the trip up to Washington with Max. We found a great little apartment right on Lake Washington. Let's just hope that the Seattle weather isn't as rainy as I have heard!

I found this thru a link on Nick's blog and thought I'd let you know that it's snowing weatherwise here today. Around here we wait for July 5th for summer to arrive. Hope Chris has a great season and we're looking forward to a trip to see him play in Tacoma once the weather finally arrives. Jody and Steve
