Chris and I have found the best place to got for breakfast in Seattle....Portage Bay Cafe!! They serve only organic food that comes from local, self-sustaining farmers. Their slogan is "Eat like your give a damn." In other words, eat like you care about where your food comes from, what you put in your body, how your food is raised, how your food tastes, and the environment. Their coffee is amazing, their food is delicious, and their fruit is probably the best you have ever had in your life!!! One of our favorite things about this place is the toppings bar! If you order any of their pancakes or french toast...you get a free trip to the toppings bar which includes strawberries, blueberries, black berries, raspberries, peaches, pears, whipped cream, sliced almonds, brown sugar, and or course, all the maple syrup you could want! It is amazing!!! We decided we are probably going to frequent this breakfast joint at least once a week...because, well, we give a damn!! Ha ha! :)

Yay! You guys found this place fast! I think there are a few of these - there was one super close to school. Not a bad place to become a frequent guest.
